Showing our support for Guide Dogs

Over the last twelve months Bowman Riley Architects have been sponsoring their second Guide Dog puppy.

The company is not content to just show their financial support though; Geoff Thorpe, retired Managing Director and current Consultant to the Practice has undertaken the training of Cindy the Guide Dog himself.

Geoff has been responsible for introducing the puppy to the sights, sounds and smells of the world in which she will one day play a vital role. Cindy has been a frequent visitor to the office in Skipton, often travelling in with Geoff on the bus as preparation for her role as a guide to a person with impaired sight.

Today, after a year of Geoff's training and care, Cindy leaves for further training with Guide Dogs in Bolton.
