Bowman Riley Architects – Practice of the Year!!!

Bowman Riley Architects won the Architects Practice of the Year award at the Yorkshire Insider Property Industry Awards last week.

The company were one of four practices shortlisted for the award, but their work at Toronto Square in Leeds for Highcross Strategic Advisers and the first BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rated supermarket in the country in Kidderminster for Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc made Bowman Riley Architects stand out from the competition.

The awards ceremony, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds celebrated the achievements of the property and construction industry, something which host Nik Wood of the BBC said was all the more important when times were tough.

Bowman Riley Architects MD Paul Hodgson said ‘it was a real surprise as we were up against some worthy contenders, but it is great to see our efforts recognised by our peers. While things are hard for everyone at the moment, we still have some outstanding projects on the go, and they are worthy of shouting about!”

Bowman Riley Architects are based in the historic market town of Skipton and have a second office in the centre of the financial district in vibrant Leeds. From these two contrasting offices 54 staff are employed across a wide range of sectors including retail, commercial, private residential and social housing, and offer a full range of services including architecture, building surveying, CDM Co-ordination and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments.
