Robin Holme
Associate Director

Robin originally joined the Practice in 1990.
He returned in 2004, after broadening his experience with two leading international Chartered Surveying companies to establish and manage Bowman Riley Surveyors.
Originating from "the Dales", Robin enjoys the 'outdoors', walking, traveling and most sports.
Paul Hodgson
Consultant
BA, DipArch, RIBA
Paul initially started with Bowman Riley Architects in the 1970s as a junior. He returned to the Practice in 1987 and was made a partner in 1993.
He has worked in all areas of architecture, predominantly in the Yorkshire region.
When not enjoying some peace and quiet in the Lake District, Paul can be found motorbiking or behind the wheel of his custom built Morgan Plus Four.
Laurence Teeney
Director
BA, BArch (Manchester) RIBA
Laurence joined Bowman Riley Architects in 1993. His fields of interest are education, masterplanning and regeneration, all from a design focused perspective.
Given the opportunity, Laurence would like to spend more time travelling and looking at maps!
John Coultas
Director
BA (Hons) DipArch (Oxford) RIBA
John joined Bowman Riley Architects in May 1995 and has worked predominantly throughout Yorkshire and Lancashire.
His work encompasses residential, regeneration, leisure, education and commercial projects.
Darren Bush
Director
BA (Hons), Dip Arch, RIBA
Darren has been with the Practice since 1991. He specialises in Retail developments and is also responsible for the company's Environmental Management System ISO 14001.
In his spare time Darren enjoys squash, skiing, tennis and travel.
Matthew Jones
Director - Leeds
BScGen.Arch. BArch, RIBA
Matthew joined Bowman Riley Architects in 1997 after working in Montego Bay, Jamaica for nearly 3 years.
He specialises in commercial and industrial projects, and in his spare time enjoys a range of sporting pursuits.
Bill Quinton
Bill joined Bowman Riley in 1988, bringing in their first CAD computer. Since then he has completed a range of projects in the commercial, retail and education fields. He is Team Leader of the Petroleum Division, and works throughout the UK and Europe on projects for a leading oil company. Out of the office he is a caver and an active member of the local mountain rescue team (the Cave Rescue Organisation). He also enjoys sea-kayaking, canoeing, and mountain walking (with completion of the Munros achieved in 2001).
John Walker
Consultant
BR Health and Safety Divisional Manager
BSc FRICS RMaPS
John joined the practice in 1992 and has worked through out mainland UK. Initially as a Project Manager subsequently heading our Health and Safety Division since the introduction of the CDM Regulations in 1995.
In his spare time John enjoys restoring and using anything with an internal combustion engine.
